Health and Nutrition

Apraava Energy’s healthcare programs such as establishment of mid-day meal kitchens and upgradation of primary healthcare center reach out to the remotest areas around its transmission and solar plants across Assam, Telangana and Nagaland.

Key Initiatives

Apraava Energy partnered with The Akshaya Patra Foundation (TAPF) to set up a Centralized Kitchen in Telangana to provide mid-day meals to 20,000 children daily. The company has also carried out similar program along with provision of distribution vehicles around its transmission assets near Jorhat, Assam. The kitchen has a capacity to provide mid-day meals to up to 27,000 children every day.

This initiative will ensure provision of healthy balanced meals to children and help them concentrate on learning.

At all locations, menus are curated to suit the local palate significantly to meet the daily nutritional requirements of a child.
