Youth Skilling Programme

In a comprehensive three-year project in empowering community through skill development and environment conservation project at Telangana, Apraava caters to 17 catchment villages around our wind and solar business sites in CREPL, DSPL and Veltoor.

At the heart of this initiative is the skill-based livelihood center where selected women and youth underwent intensive training in advanced tailoring and embroidery courses. To provide holistic support, Apraava equipped these women with modern, high-speed, and durable machines along with its accessories nurturing their entrepreneurial spirit and bolstering their confidence.

Former beedi rollers, once bearing the brunt of significant health implications have now transitioned into full time tailoring and embroidery, finding fulfilment and satisfaction in their work. Notably, a woman has established her business in a store employing another woman and earning a decent income in a dignified manner.

Through our commitment to skill development and community empowerment, Apraava Energy continues to catalyze positive change and foster sustainable livelihoods in Telangana.
